I've been on book 3 for over a month now (yes, I somehow managed to survive the first two books). I hate this series so much. It's possibly the worst I've ever read. I'm about 75% finished with the last book, and I can't even force myself to finish it. Maybe I'm just not kinky enough, I don't know.
I only got to page 100, it's so badly written, the author is too dramatic in stupid little situations and Anastasia is seriously underdeveloped and too naive for her age.

It gets worse as the series progresses, sis. Anastasia becomes an intolerable bitch, Christian lightens up a lot, and the whole story becomes even more unrealistic.
I finally finished Fifty Shades Freed, the last 30% of the book was actually pretty good. I was shocked. I liked the ending. And I like that after the book ends, she included a couple of random chapters from Christian's perspective, including his first meeting with Anastasia.
I'll be so pissed if Ian Somerhalder and Emilia Clarke don't get cast as Christian and Anastasia.
I bought the trilogy on iBooks sometime during the summer since everyone was talking about it and I got through the first book, as painful as it was, then I started on the second and gave up because I can not get over how **** it is. I can not even comprehend.
It is just dreadfully written, soooo repetitive, dire plot and the main character, Anastasia is SO unlike able. I could go on about everything wrong with it but I won't......
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. She is just some weird, horny woman who wrote a crappy book and was lucky enough to find a niche in the market.
Y'all know this story started as Twilight fan fiction, right? The actual literary quality of this is not at all surprising knowing that. This author is just some horny old woman who is now rich as **** I suppose.
She tried to throw in weird twists.
