You didn't see any Chinese people complaining about the Princess of China video... I mean the whole "Native American Culture is sacred and should not be re-created" argument is tiresome at this point. Its 2012, get over it.

[since the sensitive US is pretty much from where all pop culture controversy occur, this nation will be the context of my argument]. cuz the Chinese communities weren't bother
enough to cause an online outrage. Cultural conflicts of Chinese to the dominant American races are usually way more tame, even unnoticed, in comparison to that of Black, Hispanic and Natives to White Americans.
and trust me, my Chinese friends in LA were
pissed when RiRi dressed up as a geisha (& tweeted about it proudly) in a music vid about Princess of China. But since American pop culture has its foundation built on cultural ignorance for the longest time, we just shake our heads and let it go.
For Looking Hot, again I think ppl are upset not because it was racist to the Native American culture but because it took the war lightly. I mean the race was nearly wiped out in many ways thanks to the war. I wouldnt blame them for getting angry at that.
