don't quote out of context. It shows that you don't get what I'm asking. I know that race is obviously a factor in election. I'm just saying I don't get how these images support that notion. It just shows that some people don't like Obama, which we know. Maybe some of the people in these photos dont like Obama because he's black, but there's nothing that shows that.

Canadian. Could be a cultural thing I guess. I've never ever heard of that being a racism thing at all. Just a... hanging yourself or getting hanged thing lol.

You know what this reminds me of... that South Park episode where there's an uproar about the town flag because it shows a black guy being hung. Then the kids are like "what's the big deal? hanging has been around forever". LOL this is just like that... i'm so kind and innocent ;_;

Thank you! I really didn't know. I'm learning something here today. To me, hanging is just like a form of execution for criminals. I didn't know it had anything to do with racism. I'm gonna read more about it.

I live in BC and learned this in school. Well, I already knew but still. Has the curriculum changed in the last 10 years?

I live in BC currently but I grew up and went to school in Alberta. Katie didn't know that.

I don't remember learning that in school. This is the first time I've heard anything about it. I'm reading now that in some states it's illegal to display a noose... that's crazy. I didn't know it was so serious or a racial thing at all.
