There's only one problem: ringtones are steadily declining, and will probably sunset in the next few years. Gartner sees that happening around 2015 or so

Ringtones revenue/sales have been in significant decline in the last few years (especially in Europe and North America).
Download is still growing abeit slowly.
Subscription is taking off very fast (80% growth from 2010 to 2011)

Me too. I mean what the hell are ringtones? Are they some small snips of the song. If that's so then why don't they just buy the full **** and put it as their ringtone?

And yeah, thats what they are. I don't know why people don't just cut up the songs themselves. Maybe cause they're too dumb/lazy to learn how to do it? lol Or maybe some people just want the convience

We know what a ringtone is But I don't know how they purchase it when it is scattered all over the internet. Plus they can cut it themselves.
I always found them pointless.
I don't really like using songs as ringtones these days, but I would sometimes use them in the past. I would just edit the song file on my computer myself and transfer it to my phone.
