Disturbia wasn't even a massive hit to be fair. It was massive for like 3 months then seemed to completely disappear off the face of the planet.

Umbrella and Single Ladies, however, are two of the most iconic songs of the decade (and aren't generic like Disturbia). Umbrella would probably be easily over 5 million if the sales were as high in 2007 as they were in 2009.

Single Ladies was a massive hit on here. It was an Internet phenomenon like Call Me Maybe, Sexy and I Know It, Gangnam Style, etc. so people all over the world are fully aware of the impact of the song.
