I'm just guessing cause of the side of the storm that those lakes are on, and how these storms rotate counter clockwise, so air is moving from north to south on the west side of the storm. Yes very interesting!!

Yeah I usually like to watch storm coverage when it happens in my area or near where I live. Like I remember last year Jim Cantore ( I think ) was in Harrisburg it was snowing so hard and there was Thundersnow and he was like having a meltdown
