I have soooo many fav music videos, so I really had to narrow it down.

I decided to theme my list, and include my fav videos that demonstrate my favourite quality in music videos: movement and choreography. More often than not, this refers to dance, but as one of my submissions shows - it's possible for something to be highly choreographed but not danced.

also - ethan, you should wash your mouth out with soap for calling Robyn's "Call Your Girlfriend" boring. Her passion and energy in that clip are through the roof.... plus, don't cater to the judges and consider if they'll like the videos or not, the point is to show YOUR fave videos, whatever they may be.

You guys have no idea how much I seriously love that music video, it is one of my favorites ever and I don't think it's boring, I think it's beautiful and a beautiful song, but I just thought for this challenge, it didn't fit with the other videos I sent and the judges might have not liked it. I obviously would not have posted it if I didn't absolutely love it. Glad to see that you two agree that it's amazing

I didn't cater to the judges, but I did keep in mind that I'm putting my favorite videos, something that's kind of personal in a way, out there to be judged, so I wasn't prepared to make too many risky choices. I have a lot of favorites so I just narrowed it down to the 5 that I love because they represent me and what I think a music video should be. It's not like I went and picked videos just because I thought the judges would like them.

I wonder how the judges are going to rate our lists because taste in music and music videos is extremely subjective

Anyway, I'm proud of the choices I made. I think they're amazing music videos.

Last season was painful.

Jesus, that was probably the most difficult challenge for me. I didn't know I liked so many videos. But I hope my choices were cohesive and made sense.

It was more about how the list was taken overall. If someone spammed with their faves, they're out. If they're diverse yet authentic, that's what makes a top member

But last season no one really did anything special, so I closed my eyes and pointed randomly.

The music videos I chose all had somewhat of a story to them. I wanted to go with five, but I narrowed it down to four, all from different artists.
