I had this one in the butt 2 months ago such a pain in the ass I put some tapes on handkerchief over it every day I forgot I used antibiotics 3x a day for a week and the pus drained out ugghhh and theres a scar on it now

Some bacteria known as stapyholoccocus I guess...theyre the most common...I didnt know what caused it to be honest..

first it was like a pimple but then it got hot and spread all over and then it became red and so I put some warm compress on it until it swelled a bit so the pus can drain..and then I started taking the antibiotics

Razzle, was it really a boil? or what is it? your doctor said

my 1st one was on the temporal area of the face and it has a mini circular scar which I use Dermatix upon daily ughhh

Actually I don't know The dermatologist just checked it out and prescribed me what to take without mentioning what it is

I tried to put some warm compress in the morning before going to the derma and then during my check-up, the derma said I should not use hot water on my body Hirap pa naman maligo ng malamig ngayong umuulan

when it was small, I thought it was just an insect bite, then it grew a bit bigger and I thought it was just a pimple until it still grew bigger and became more painful and it's so red. I had some cases of pimples before and this was different so I don't think it's just a pimple. Plus my face never swelled when it has a pimple and this feels like a hammer is hitting my head all the time

You should've had ask her whats its indication or mode of action for your problem...did she gave you any health teaching bout the prescribed medication?

IKR, but with continuous intake of medication, that will sure be gone for a week or so The pus isnt drained out right? Im sure you will feel a big sense of relief afterwards but the thought of it is just but its okay, there will be a scar though

I think the sweat can also cause that , well most bacterias dwells in moist areas of the body

What do you mean? she just gave me a list of medicines and cream to take/apply and told me what I should do which is to not touch it basically and food/drinks I shouldn't eat/drink. Didn't really asked her what the medicines are for since I was too bothered in understanding her handwriting on the prescription I just hope any of those are pain relievers since it doesn't stop aching

A closed one is really disturbing and takes much more time, because the pus will make a mound , Id rather have an open one because its easy to treat
