I'd rather have 10% talent and not even try hard and still earn $99.99M, rather than have 100% talent and try as hard as I can to make just a little bit more than $100M. I'd rather take Rihanna's not trying path.
I would personally rather be talented and successful than untalented and successful.
It's very true that Rihanna is far, far more globablly successful and known than Destiny's Child ever was. Rihanna has many songs that went #1 almost everywhere (Umbrella, Don't Stop the Music, Only Girl, We Found Love), did DC ever have one of those? One of those MEGA worldwide smashes? Their album sales were always heavily skewed towards America.
Two of DC's album sold 10M copies world wide. But this was in 2000 when 10M is just decent - because you've seen Britney selling two 20M+ album, and Xtina selling 16M copies off their albums.
Congrats Riri.
Bey is still more talented but get those hit singles girl. She should have made a #1 hits compilation by now. Bey cant see Riri's chart success but I dont think Bey is bothered. She has been there, done that and on to bigger & better things
