Well, to be fair... Gaga grew up listening to Destiny's Child. And besides that, she is also older than Rihanna, so she probably doesn't feel the need to say anything like that about her.

However, she has said that Rihanna is a big star, when she passed her in Facebook likes.

It's very true that Rihanna is far, far more globablly successful and known than Destiny's Child ever was. Rihanna has many songs that went #1 almost everywhere (Umbrella, Don't Stop the Music, Only Girl, We Found Love), did DC ever have one of those? One of those MEGA worldwide smashes? Their album sales were always heavily skewed towards America.
