There is some Severe Weather alert on Manitoba and Saskatchewan. But it's not caused by this rare event.

No, west coast. Like, the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. We're always ignored

Hurricanes are nothing new in October, and with weather, things can change at the drop of a hat. Just stay calm and be informed!

Sis if this was just "a hurricane", NOAA and TWC wouldn't be stressing everything.. This is a MONSTER in the making.. When it arrives in the NorthEast, it will combine with another low pressure to make a very dangerous hurricane, along with cold temps that will turn rain into snow, which in turn creates what me and my friend call a "Snowicane", or a Blizzard inside a Hurricane.. This is not normal and will be very dangerous.. This is not something to take lightly..

Only the big names are talking about it right now as it won't impact the North East until next week.. I'd say you'll hear about it this weekend for sure

I hope it doesn't effect Pennsylvania. Irene was a baby hurricane, and I was terrified for my life.

This is worrying, I'll be flying back early next week from the West Coast, I hope this won't cause any problems this soon.
And even still, it's a terrifying prospect. Especially if you consider its long-term causes and future implications if storms like this, once considered impossible, now occur.
