Are you kidding me? She made some catchy electro pop songs but they will fade. There is nothing new or innovative about Gaga's music. She had a lot of success and made a big impact on the industry, but the "industry" will be irrelevant in hundreds of years when only the music remains.

I think it'll be along the lines of Madonna's first album (sorry for the comparison, I stan for both). Madge has blown up since but her first album with its singles Everybody, Borderline and Holiday is probably the smallest statement of her catalogue. She's went bigger and bigger with each release, and I think that's where Gaga is going (at least, that's where I would like her to go).

The Fame was huge and introduced us to Gaga's Final Fantasy villain meets fasionista-pop star aesthetic, but beyond the hit singles the album will probably fall to the wayside like most first albums do.

Are you on crack? The Fame Monster is her 2nd album. It was INCLUDED on a re release of The Fame, but it's a separate entity. Her 2nd album. Every Gaga fan should know that

I guess so. As someone else said though, the extent to which her debut is remembered will depend on how long Gaga actually sticks around. If she's still going strong in ten years, then 'The Fame' will be remembered as the huge era that started it all and catapulted her to superstardom, much like BOMT is for Britney.
