Guys, don't you think barely breaking 1M sales should be called "a flop"? Of course, I know it's completely unbelievable for most of artists, but come on... 623k for the first single and 1M for 3 promo singles combined.
Taylor is on another level - I'd say with such huge promotion and perfect singles, Red should debut with 1.2M AT LEAST
Hard to say if the singles have made new fans and Taylor has managed to not turn off her country fanbase then it is possible. If it doesn't sell a huge amount but builds and has longevity I will be happy. I don't want a front sales loaded album but we will see if Taylor can manage to keep momentum going for the next two years with well chosen singles, good promo strategy and some luck.
