So, I've been wondering: will GH-C1 count as her last release with RCA? (She DOES have one more release with them, right?) I mean, I'm just really excited about her starting with a label where she's happier with the work ethic (especially since she seems happier in her personal life now, I would love for her to be happy professionally as well), exploring her singer-songwriter side extensively with Jason/Aben/Jill+Kate.

An old friend in Sony showed me some of the clauses in her contract with 19 Recordings and RCA years before. As far I know, the GH album doesn't count, she's actually entitled to release 2 GH albums if she wants to (Hence, I think, the Chapter 1). She's really being reluctant to release this GH album, soI think she'll release the second later than sooner.
She still has one album left in her current contract. If the sixth album or one of its singles goes beyond the Gold mark, RCA and 19 will offer her a renewal. She's also entitled to release a "The Best of" collection (not to be confused with a GH) in case she decided to leave. An interesting note that I saw before was Simon Cowell's record company also got a piece of her first four albums. I think that was because of Simon Cowell was not being allowed to launch the "X Factor USA" back then because of the "Pop Idol" and "X Factor UK" wars. Another interesting note is that her advance earnings on releasing an album is lower than those of her successor winners. But she's the only winner to get a six-album deal from the start, other winners have four-album deals which could be extended to six.
Anyway, I think in case she decided to stay with 19 and not with RCA, 19 will move her to Interscope.
