She probably didn't get paid much for it. Selena isn't known as a box office draw and I believe people don't get paid that much for animated films to begin with. Movie held well again.

You’re living in your own house now. Did Selena bring you any great housewarming gifts?
“She actually did. She shot a movie in Budapest and she brought me this old, ornate, wooden antique clock. She got it at a street market there and she put it on the cabinet that’s right in my entryway and it’s stayed there ever since. It’s beautiful.”
She knows you well enough to be able to spot things that you’ll love?
“She knows me so well, well enough to know what I would wear, what I would like for my house, what candle I’d like for my house… when you’re close with someone for that long, they tend to know everything that you’d like.”

“We don’t talk about relationships in the sense of publicity and press and, ‘How do I deal with the public eye?’ when Selena and I talk, it’s just about life and love and in a very basic way, just the same way that you’d talk to your girlfriend about her life and her relationships. We don’t ever factor in the whole bright-lights-shiny situation. We never really talk about that part of it. That’s just our job - when we’re not at photoshoots and on red carpets, we just want to talk about life.
Do you guys ever get jealous of each other?
“You never get jealous of your true friends and htey would never get jealous of you, because if you have a true friendship going on there’s never going to be an air of competition in it. You’re always cheering for them, always happy for them, always on the sidelines rooting for them. My close friends.. I’ve been really close with Selena and Emma Stone since I was 17, and when you’re friends with someone for that long and you go through this many changes with them, and your life changes 100% but they’re still there, it becomes more like a sisterhood.”

It has competition though.. Dr. Lorax, Frankenweenie, Ice Age, Madagascar..
but I think the animation in Hotel T is freaking gorgeous tbh. The characters are very fun to watch.
