Yep I read, you were refering UK, germany and Italy as the big markets of Europe.

But France is a way bigger market than Italy .. Actually France is one of the top 5 biggest music markets in the entire world.

Most of people I know who are not Britney fans don't even remember that "Lucky" existed.

Obviously slave & toxic are more remembered than Lucky. However Lucky was pretty big despite peaking at 23 on billboard. Back then songs were hits without having to hit #1.
Lucky was also very successful WW hit #1 is many markets.

It was also on a multimillion selling album. More people have probobly listend to Lucky than blackout, circus, FF. Fun Fact: Taylor Swift covered lucky in one of her concerts!

Lucky is so underrated here.

I doubt she will ever be a MULTI-PLATINUM seller in UK again ... But with some promotion she definately would reach Platinum there ... I mean "Femme fatale" reached Gold sales with no airplay , flop singles, bad press, and 0 promotion .. Now just imagine everything with promotion ... I think she is still capable of reaching platinum there.

Germany is a country where Britney needs to promote to do fine .. Most of the time she did fine there was when she promoted including "Circus" which received a Gold certification .... The only time she hasn't reached a cert there is with the albums she hasn't promoted "Blackout" and "Femme fatale" ..... So I think with promotion there she would do moderate / ok.


Italy otherwise is a lost market for her, she hasn"t reach even a Gold certification since 2003 I guess, she is literally destroyed there, she should forget about Italy to be honest.

I know "Lucky" is big ... But Katie was saying "Lukcy" is more remembered than any song of "Britney" and "In the zone".

And I doubt that .. Because even if "Lucky" is memorable I don"t think is more remembered than "I'm a slave 4U" (britney) or "Toxic" (in the zone).

Britney is a FORCE if she wants to. The problem with this countries is too much bad press which interferes her standing in the long run. She can have a huge frontloaded first week because she's still interesting for most. What she needs to do is go to these countries and do a couple of TV shows. She needs to court her audience again and it's NEVER gonna be hard for her to regain them back.
