Sad though because songs like Enchanted, You're Not Sorry and Cold As You are flawless and deserve to be showcased for years to come but they weren't singles so they'll stay hidden on the albums forever. I really want an acoustic Enchanted.

I don't think enchanted would have made it on the radio even if it was shorter in length. It was at a time when most songs were either in the Club Can't Handle Me Right Now phase, were from Adele or Katy Perry or featured the hip hop artist du jour. Maybe if the remixed it with dance beat and threw in Pitbull it would have charted on pop.
Country would have played it but it wouldn't have done well there either unless BMR pretended it was actually the next Blake Shelton single or thrown in a reference to half naked country girls shaking it. Idk. It was a bad time for radio all around.
But radio is rarely there for good songs with thoughtful lyrics.

I hope not because that would mean this is her career peak. She is too young for that. If she manages to keep her career relevant till that age hopefully there will be many more songs and albums that those songs will not even be a blip. At least I hope so because I want her to continue growing and writing as she experiences life well into old age. I like the decision she took with Speak Now to write it entirely by herself and now I am excited by the direction she has taken with RED to switch it up. I want her to continue writing by herself but also learning from other
people in the process to become a better artist. I don't want her to be a one album wonder but a several album wonder where the original fans have grown with her over the years and she has brought in new fans as her music has evolved.
May I just say that RED will age the best among the released singles so far.
I Knew You Were Pathetic got old so fast while The Best Day still touches my soul

Lots of people on tumblr have read the full Rolling Stone article - someone needs to scan it already! Apparently, Taylor was involved in a second car accident later that day. I just looked on the journalist Brian Hiatt's twitter feed and one of the lines in the article is, "It makes 'Streets of Philadelphia' sound like 'Party Rock Anthem.'" I wonder if that is describing a song on Red or something else?
i really want taylor to do an artistic video!
