Mariah Heads to China

Mariah is currently heading to China to perform at a private event on October 10. It is reported that the event will be in honor of the 60th birthday of Amway Japan's Kaoru Nakajima.

Just a short while ago, Mariah tweeted about her departure:

It really wasn't bad at all,neither was the Soundtrack.

Mimi and her team just messed up with the timing.It was released a lil bit after September 11,and the general public wasn't in the mood for an upbeat sparkly musical. The actual Soundtrack was released before though,on the actual 911.


Everyone was so depressed and bitter,so basically I assume critics took it out on poor Mimi.




That's just my take though...

Is such an emotionally moving song, because I've been through it with my parents.So it really speaks to me.The lyrics,the emotionally filled powerful vocals from MC, the production. Flawless

Yeah, the timing was really bad. I mean, not only was it pushed back several times, it was also released so close to 9/11.



If it was released in August like they originally planned, it would've done A LOT better.

Yeah that's another thing that really pisses me off when I think back. Too many delays and indecisiveness.

For the next album I hope she eases back on the production, her studio vocals have sounded so enhanced lately and I have not liked ANY of her whistles since "I Wish You Well"

I love the movie, and the soundtrack *****.

I agree about the critics taking it out on her.. the rottentomatoes score isn't even NEAR fair. Makes me sad just thinking about it. oh well.
