Well, I specifically said being nominated again after a win. I suspect there's a sentiment that could help some artists get more noms because it's like "oh hey, you haven't won yet, so here's another nom for you." And then artists who've won are under greater scrutiny, like "but how does this compare to that time that you won, huh?"
Plus there's a definite greater scrutiny for females - there are three male artists who've
WON three times. It's kinda ridiculously lopsided.
It's like how at the Oscars since 1967 there are only 2 directors who've twice taken Best Picture + Director.
