Honestly, I was never quite sure. I think that it's handed out to RECENT Moderators that have stepped down, hence why many older mods are "Senior Members". But that's what I thought, anyway. It could be something different. It could be for posters who are no longer mods that still contribute daily to the forum? I don't know.
