It took her 12 hours, that's a pretty long time.
I expected her to do it in 5-6 hours with all the hype and pre-orders.

Adele has a huge fanbase called the GP. Everyone loves her so don't tell me she doesn't have fans.
And Red is a promo single, basically all her fans have already bought the song, hence why it started falling before Skyfall was released.

let's not, because we all know that Taylor has a DEVOTED fanbase. Many of them who run to purchase her new singles every time it hits iTunes. Adele doesn't have that type of fanbase. All of the GP probably isn't aware that her new single is out, so her sales will probably grow over time. Taylor's hardcore fans all know when her singles get released.

Exactly my point. They've bought it already, and it started falling before Skyfall was even released.
