I am really confused about it too, it it literally impossible for her to have made only 600k from the concert here in Romania, because she got 1 million $ only for performing, without any ticket sales. I also doubt there were only 22k people there. I was there, so I know what I'm talking about and the crowd was really huge, definitely didn't look like a 22k crowd + all the publications and press here in Romania wrote that the concert was attended by aproximately 35k people. Why would they lie so much if there would have been such a big difference between the reported numbers by the press and by the organizators here and the actual numbers that came from Billboard yesterday. I know that the press isn't always right when it comes to estimating the crowd numbers, but we're talking here about a 13k difference, which is really big and I was there and I swear that it didn't look like a 22k crowd AT ALL.
And as I said, I'm really condused and disappointed about the gross of the show here in Romania too. Madonna performed here in 2009 (I guess) for 69k people - thats what BB reported and she made 4.660.000 $ fross out of 70k people. THE PRICES FOR BOTH MADONNA and LADY GAGA shows were almost exactly the same, so I really don't understand how Madonna managed to pull a 7x bigger gross from a 3x bigger crowd only. It is really confusing. I also know that there were at least 25k tickets sold for the romanian show in July, around a month before the concert here (that's what the leader of the ticket selling company told my friend) so how did she sell only 22k tickets in the end, when there were 3k more tickets sold 1 month before the actual show?
All I could possibly say about this is that I'm really disappointed and that I estimated A LOT more, giving the reasons I gave you here..
