Within hours, her cover of "Torn" is already up to #83 on ITunes... The only contestant of the night to even chart.
To be honest, even if Cassadee doesn't win, she's still gonna end up appearing to be the first The Voice contestant to really "make it" following the show.... and thats just because she still has a very strong fanbase from Hey Monday. (Their last EP charted at #25 in 2010, that kind of support plus added show exposure will blow her up more than any previous contestants.)
Cassadee Pope's eligibility is such crap. If you've had material for this year (the music year starts in December), you should definitely not be allowed. Hey Monday is a big enough band that they have a pronounced fan base. She should let someone else have a chance. It hasn't even been a year yet. - _ -
