Yea her videos are in dire need of drastic improvement. I pray someone whispers in her year that this next era; it should be quality > quantity in terms of visuals. I'll be happy with 4 epic music videos over 7 average ones + 1 great 1st single video.

So very true. Gaga had only 3 videos for TFM and all of them were epic and very successful. One of them even had Bey in it! And one also got nominated for a Grammy... She needs to take a tip from Gaga with the vids.

I think Beyoncé should lean towards rock next era.
she should try a dance song or two if only to secure a hit, but even then dancepop isn't dominating the charts as strongly as it used to 2008-2010.
I think if she goes rock then she could lead a musical movement, & I don't mean watered-down Max Martin pop-rock or I Am... style soft rock ballads. I mean more along the lines of Michael Jackson's "Dirty Diana" & Janet's "Black Cat."
"Freakum Dress" live completely slays with its rock influences.
Imagine Beyoncé giving that glam-rock sound, it completely compliments her over-the-top-drag-queen diva persona.


And then for the downtempos she could give songs styled like "I Care" "1+1" and her covers of "Sex On Fire" & "The Beautiful Ones." That way she can keep her R&B influences intact since she always wants to keep a hold of her roots & not completely give it up.

I said this on another forum. I really would love a few rock songs from her. After I saw her perform Sex on Fire and the Beautiful Ones @ Glastonbury, I was just blown away. Her voice just flowed and she got to sing longer notes and you could hear how strong her mid range belts were. I just need to hear her sing like that on record and live as well.

I think this is to do with Bey. She always said she'd love to collab with her or write a song for her album (I think she wrote some for 4 but didn't make the cut) and she said earlier this year she working with B again so maybe
