Okay yeah this is a very strange rate indeed... I thought the removal of all those iam songs/the wastes would make this more interesting in a good way. Huh. No Robyn tracks making top 5ish or even past 8 seems so weird to me...
Synopsis
The long anticipated elimination of "Release Me" on our countdown has finally arrived. The track was the second single from her third album, Dance Love Pop. Agnes sings about an addicting love that she knows is not good for her, but she keeps coming back. How original. "Release Me" is upbeat and dancey, and it had a strong chart performance. This included gold certifications in France and Germany and also a platinum certification in Denmark. Basically, it's Agnes' biggest hit and biggest commercial success. Unfortunately for her, she is now eliminated from the rate.
