None of you are making sense. They can't put up a song for sale because they're broke? They're not broke. They have money.
Everyone seems to criticize them but yet no one here really knows anything. You're all assuming. Yes they've been unprofessional in the way they've responded to fans, but the fans have been unprofessional as well.

I wasn't even talking about the song being up onto itunes. I was moreso, talking about them being to broke to do a full marketing campaign for her. Even if they put the song on itunes, they still would want a banner to get the song out there. Banner's cost money. I don't recall seeing a banner when Demonstrate went for rhythmic adds but it probably would have helped the song get more noticed.

Honestly, I wouldn't want them to market the song right now. How is JoJo gonna travel and do a radio campaign for the song when she's shooting a movie?

It just sucks that JoJo is probably the most talented girl out there right now and has near ZERO exposure and recognition. It's filthy. She deserves the same success as all these other pop girls.

Plus too, she won't have a fighting chance with all of the old R&B vets being back, ie. Brandy, Keyshia, Beyonce, Kelly, Mariah, Aaliyah, Alicia. Those projects need to die down first.

She's been on twitter complaining about things but then she signs on to a movie? A movie doesn't take 2 weeks to film. It could take anywhere from 2-4 months to film. I know she's still been in the studio but that's different from marketing your music.
As much as I love her, she's honestly not the smartest artist I've seen. Yes, the label has made mistakes but she has yet to take any initiative. So she can either keep complaining about the label or do things herself. The label isn't stopping her from doing shows. She can release another mixtape full of new songs and tour off of that. 360 deals weren't popular when she first signed so I don't think the label has control of her touring, but I could be wrong.
And honestly, she's not gonna sell well, so an album wouldn't be beneficial to her. R&B acts don't make a lot of money album wise. They make their money doing shows.

Let's be real...it's not like Blackground was going to get ANYTHING done...girl has to make some money, she can't be sitting around waiting on Blackground. That's why she moved to LA, to finish up the album...it's been YEARS, and nothing.

That's exactly what the label wants...to NOT invest, and gain all the money.

AND...it's not like there's anything TO promote...what is she going to sing the song for? It's not like people will be able to buy it, all they can do is listen to it on SoundCloud/Youtube, so promoting a song that's not even on iTunes would be COMPLETELY pointless.

Everything created in the studio is funded by that **** ass label and therefore their propert. YThe first mixtape was their choice. She needs to write an open letter like ciara did so people gain an awareness and she has more power to her cause!
