I don't think Gaga will have her Grammy sweep moment for a few albums yet.
She's too pop, too dance and too different for them to properly get behind her when there's more conventional choices available. I wouldn't be surprised if they rewarded her eventually though, for consistent quality with the consecutive AOTY nominations. I also wouldn't be surprised if the album that does it is a more Stefani-esque gritty singer/songwriter album.
Picking up a Grammy or two here and there is a good way to go in the mean time.

She would need to do a Fiona Apple-style work, which would flop commercially. Which is something that the committee does take into consideration. If her album tanked, she would not receive a single award, regardless of content.
