Also, a buzz single is not a real thing. Its what labels/artists call their first singles after they flop.

I dunno, the song is going to be getting some exposure so its good to capitalize on that.

And tons of artists release songs digitally as promo singles that they never had any intention of servicing to radio...

I think the CMAs are doing a separate Christmas special so I don't think they'd have anyone perform Christmas songs at the awards.
