I was expecting a little progression with this release, but it totally misses the mark. You can hardly distinguish her vocals through that auto-tune, and her vocals are missing something during the chorus. All of Ke$ha's singles to this point had been instantly rewarding; this is certainly not the case with "Die Young". And don't get me started on her stealing from Flo Rida.
I'm not so sure this will be a massive hit like the majority of her previous singles.
Hopefully this era will mimic Teenage Dream... a generic Dr. Luke 1st single that sounds like a copycat of another recent hit... yet despite the underwhelming response it becomes a massive smash anyway... paving the way for more substantive singles that end up performing even better on the charts... leading to one of the best/biggest pop eras in history!!!
