I have a friend that says she LOVES gay people so much and they're the best and we're all cute and fun and we dance and sing and everything. We took her to a gay bar and she left all disappointed because "there was no glitter, and no one was dancing and where were the feather boas!!!1". So ignorant.

I have several.

1) Obviously the whole falling in love with a straight guy thing. It's the worst. You can't ever tell them because generally they're weirded out and stop being your friend. To a lesser extent, seeing a hot guy out and about and wanting to flirt but being totally unable to because there's a pretty good chance he's not interested.

2) The idea that gay men don't want relationships. I have zero interest in hookups. I had one one-night stand and that was it, and it was fun but I'm not looking for that to happen anymore. I want a relationship. So it's been a while since I've had sex and my friends tease me for it, but I'm just waiting for an emotional connection first.

3) Society's acceptance still sucks. My sister can talk about boys with my parents but I can't.
