How are you still trying to turn this song into a hit

However I would love to see a Greatest Hit album; I just don't think it will be that beneficial to Kelly's career. I personally can't see the album doing much internationally. And if she has a couple smashes up her sleeve - put them on a new album and it will open with over 200K and potentially lead to her most successful era since Breakaway; both critically and commercially.

I honestly don't see a flop GH album being bad for a career in almost any way... But if the singles are successful it could help reestablish Kelly's relevancy. While WDKY smashed I think the underpformance of DS shows she's not exactly back to being a radio staple... And if you look at Pink's case, I don't think Blow Me would have done nearly as well had she not been coming off two top 2 smashes from her GH era...

-A Moment Like This was the idol single that was just a bonus for Thankful. Much like Don't You Wanna Stay on Stronger.

-Miss Independent was a big hit, but not even close to Stronger WDKY.

-Dark Side did better then Before Your Love.

And yes, Thankful sold more, but that was right after American Idol buzz and album sales were big back then.

Who cares if the GH album doesnt reach #1 on album chart or even reach half mill... It's a compilation album. And a GH single is a good way to extend kelly's longevity this year coming off of "Stronger" single instead of her always pooping out 1 smash hit every 2 years

i'm here for the new multi-plat single. I expect good sales for this

3.5 Million Albums Worldwide = $30 Million Revenue
1 Million Singles = $1 Million

Total = 31 Million

Stronger:

1.5 Million Albums = $ 12 Million
7 Million Singles = $7 Million

Total = 19 Million

Stronger may have advantages comparatively, but I'm almost 100% sure Thankful would of presented a bigger profit for the label. Stronger's main problem was that it only spent two weeks inside the top 10. A place where Breakaway and Thankful sat in for a long period of time.

Also why is everyone so argumentative today

Well no duh it was more of a success for the label and for money. Why ask a question if you are just going to take how much the album sold when everyone knows Thankful sold more?
