It's disappointing how stories like Tanika de Koning's backstage experience will never get press attention, whereas a photoshopped picture of Gaga's body and Gaga weed on stage venture suddenly causes an uproar all over the web.
But something is for sure, in that video Gaga proved that she's way above any scandal she may be involved in. (even if she knowingly provoked it herself), all those special moments she lives with her fans have more impact on her than anything any tabloid may latch on to bring her down. She knows who she is and what she's done right or wrong.

I mean... what have I missed? How did she get so ****ing bloated overnight? Or am I stupid and never noticed? Or are they edited? Is ARTPOP inspired by Adele? Bad picture angles? I haven't really been paying much attention to the forums (college + work) but I really need to know the tea.

She isn't bloated in recent photos. Gaga herself has said she's been on a drunken diet before. Meaning, she drinks a lot instead of eating which can make people bloated if the alcohol isn't absorbed by food.
