well, taylor and her team just wanted that #1 on the Hot 100, they knew they would have had the sales on their side so decided to make a deal with every format she receives airplay on.
As of Lady A's WYM, idk what happened and why radios were not very supportive of the song...still i would have preferred a more country sounding song and an UPTEMPO to be released in the summer, not another ballad
it made the top 20 on Billboard tho, so i'm fine with it

Own The Night has sold 1.7M so far, it will go 2xplatinum next year, i think everything is fine
it's not that country sounding, it's fine for mainstream listeners imo
