ToY would be a pretty solid track if Katy didn't try those vocal tricks(?, I don't know what to call those things) all throughout the song. Seriously, WHO thought that sounded good?

It honestly sounds like someone walked into the studio mid-recording and punched Katy in the gut multiple times. The way she sings "better" is one of the most cringeworthy things I've ever heard in a song.

That's why I only used the live version, specifically the MTV Unplugged one.

ToY had a really nice video though. In fact, minus IKG, I prefered the OOTB era videos over the TD era videos. The videos for WUIV and HNC did a great job of showing Katy's sense of humor without being too try-hard like LFN was while the ToY video was emotional without being cheesy as hell like TOTGA. I won't comment on those other messy videos.
