I'm just saying because i think "i forgive you" is a failed attempt at imitating SUBG. I'm not saying that it will be a total flop on radio because the chorus is sort of catchy and radio friendly, but the lyrics are so cheesy and even worse than IDNHU. I dont want non-stans and critics bashing Kelly for releasing the same formulaic songs just to get hits. Thats what happened to Pink's Blow me even though its a huge success.
Thats why i'm glad Dark Side released even though it sort of flopped. The song is uncomparable to any other artist's songs and even her own. It even brought in a few new fans

It is classic Clarkson with the low key intro that builds up into an explosive chorus.
Explosive chorus is Kelly Clarkson, no doubt. I'm talking about how IFY's melody is very similar to SUBG, at least to my ears. What bothers me most are the lyrics and the first 20 seconds of the song thats unbelievably identical to SUBG

YLM is flawless! But I doubt RCA would be down with that as a single (especially since it's sort of about them). Similar to Ready. That song is still one of my faves off AIEW
