Not really, a beat drop would be like in Alejandro. It has the light synths, beat drop, and then the harder synths with vocals on top. Picture something like HIAM but with the final chorus directly after the first chorus.
There is no official confirmation. I'm betting it's not coming this month. We should have official word by now. I'm guessing mid to late October single with early December album. Or do 2 singles with album early next year.
