Unless she means a brand new cd in general, and she said no less than 5 but no more than 8, so maybe like 6 or 7 tracks. She'll probably take off an even amount of urban and pop if this is the case.

No Missy did it first. Nicki will win her Grammy in due time. It will be for a Hip-Hop song, and not for a Pop song, mark my words. Could be for a fusion song also.
But she didn't infuse pop into her stuff. It was hip hop and r&b...it crossed over to pop (at least a couple of songs).
Many of hip hop heads brag about the fact that Missy, Kim, eve etc. didn't have to go pop like Nicki.
So Nicki incorporated pop and dance to add to r&b and hip hop.
Nicki needs to use PF as her foundation.

Wow, starships came at a perfect time. The song was already charting in the top 10 and then streaming kept it afloat to keep her 21 week record that might not be broken anytime soon.

I honestly don't know where to place nominations for her singles because I really think that songs like Hov lane, Champion, Fireburns, Va va voom, Masquerade and maybe MM are the only songs worthy of a nomination.
