So far, the sales of the S3 have been impressive. I'm pretty sure the iPhone 5 will get those sales in the Holiday Season but it wont be as large as the 4S sales since the S3 really did make a momentum and buzz from it's acclaimed specs.
Lmao. You REALLY think they'll make less off of the iPhone 5 than the 4S when even Apple was overwhelmed with pre-orders? The iPhone 5 Receives coverage on CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, and a loooot of local news stations. I've never seen a company make an announcement and have the GP talking all about it the next day in the morning. It took 3 hours for the 4S to sell out with less phones in production months before and the 5 sold out in an hour when they've been making phones for months now and a lot more than last year.

IDK why Microsoft doesn't just buy Nokia before they die. Nokia has 30k patents that'd be really valuable to them.

You know what, I really hope so. I want competition. Nokia is really a great company who just didn't see the Smartphone domination coming. They lagged quite a few years before but right now, this is the biggest Smartphone in terms of Specs, Build Quality and Design. I hope people would try to look into buying a 920 tho I know how shiny those iPhones look in real life. I wanted the 4s so bad before.

The S3 is so far Samsung's fastest selling Smartphone and with a lot of tech blogs being unimpressed with the iPhone, I'd say some of those sales that were supposed to be for the iPhone will go with the S3. I've seen the meltdowns especially on Mac's biggest forum 'Macrumors' a lot of them were really disappointed and opted to just buy the S3. I'm not a fan of the S3 and I think the design is enough for me not to buy it but we really cannot tell right now. Ever since Samsung's S2 was made available, Samsung's market has been growing and growing and it'll not slow down anytime soon.

The most times the GP has read a tech blog was when the iPhone 4 leaked. I dont think the GP really reads sites as much as people profess they do. Hence why the phone sold out the first day pre order stock in an hour. Remember this is when the iPhone 4 users get to upgrade and based on stats, most of them are pleased with their phone.
