My first day went great, although I missed my Math class because I read the schedule wrong. . I thought I was supposed to go to one a room Monday, Wednsday, and Friday but I only went to that room on Wednsday and Friday. Ugh I was mad
And I have SO MUCH stuff to worry about it's not even funny...it pisses me off.
I didn't even have to take it. I mean, I'm only taking 14 credit hours instead of the typical 15, but I'm coming into college with already 15-18 credit hours, so I don't feel bad for slacking by one credit.
So I recently to my city attend Community College, because I hated the college I went too and I want to save money since I am now 10k in debt from this ****** institution. I plan on transferring after this year and I want to go to the University of California, Los Angeles (this was my 1st choice in HS but I got rejected), my parents want me to go to Morehouse. I got accepted when I applied my senior year of high school, but rejected the offer and went to school in Chicago. My parents are now in my ear telling me that they were right and the only way they will help pay for my education this time is if I go to Morehouse.
I don't mind going there, but from what i've heard the campus is very conservative when it comes to homosexuality and I refuse to be looked down upon and ridiculed in an educational environment. I've explained this to them and they just keep telling me I have nothing to worry about.
I'm applying for universities in Toronto (6 hours away from home ) in a couple months. I'm in senior year right now and I'm terrified. It's so stressful thinking about it.
Anyone taking Psychology for their undergrad? Is it hard?
Have you tried working at a bank? Or do some office jobs here and there. But please, don't work for McDonalds.. You're worth more than that
Lol, I have an office job right now. I make enough to pay rent, bills, etc. but it's not a job that I'd like to have for a long time. But I'm also currently investing in stocks to try and make some extra money.
How do you find them? And our quarter still hasn't started
The Pride organization on campus. Most universities in countries where being gay is accepted have gay organizations on campus and they have parties, outings, etc. I've met most of my gay friends through that.
