Not bad, red one beat should have been alot better, it was pure disney. william flopped, should have put wayne or drake on it, singing was pretty awesome, lyrics were crazy disney alot like selena gomez "u know u got a friend in me" i think she needs a better songwriter, unless she has a big US fanbase from her movies i dont think this will hit billboard, i hope it does though need more indian influance in US chaarts
I think it's awesome! I'm a big PC fan. If there's any Indian who can do this, it's her.
Here are some more videos of her, that'll give you a sense of who she is/what we'll be seeing:
And you can get a load of her dancing skills here:
I think she's a decent singer, but much more than, she's very magnetic in person. She's stylish, unafraid, really, a path-breaker here in India. And I've heard she's already made quite an impression in LA - Hence, Interscope, Universal, Red One, Will.i.am, Atom Factory, CAA, all got on board. And not all at the same time. As in - it wasn't a package deal. She first was approached by DesiHits! with this idea, then signed with Universal, then Atom Factory, then Red One... etc. She's definitely got something. And I really think she'll be huge! I'll admit, I'm slightly biased though . Big fan!
I still bet you anything her team are just throwing wads of money at people though...
It could be. I think with Will.i.am and Red.One, they probably did throw money at him to get on board, but the fact that there was somebody to throw the money - and it was obviously the label; I don't think she's even close to being rich to do that in Rupees - is something to think about. This whole thing started when Desi Hits! and Universal pursued her. All the interviews from two years ago when she signed the contract, even now, two days ago, at the launch of the single, tells the story of how she was approached, didn't take them serious, was like - are you all crazy? I can't do this. But, Universal, CAA, even Atom Factory relentlessly pursued her.
It makes sense. India is such a huge market. She's going into the game with an already massive following - a following that worships her here in India, and will listen and buy whatever she puts out. Even if she's moderately successful with this album with the international audience, in overall numbers and figures, it'll be an above average success.
