These dual-single releases have always bothered me actually. Then with her releasing songs from TRU, and still releasing from PF:RR....it's like....I feel like everything is happening a little bit too soon. Maybe im the only one who feels like this.
In my opinion, RR had MUCH better rap material than "The Boys" and that's what annoys me. HOV Lane, Champion, I Am Your Leader...you mean to tell me these were scrapped and will never be released because of
this? That's what bothers me. On top of that, she's still releasing the pop songs from PF:RR, so I feel like if that was the case, why couldn't she have just milked PF:RR out to its last drop, and if she wasn't satisfied with anything, rereleased the album, spend some more time on that, and then move on, take a break, and come back strong for the third one.
And what other pop songs can she release? The only possible & logical choices are Va Va Voom, Whip It, Marilyn Monroe, and Masquerade, but I feel like the latter won't be released at all. So if it's just these three pop singles and maybe three other hip-hop singles, she could've went ahead and milked it IMO. That's how I feel. And if the stuff on TRU is crossover material, how would these single releases work if one is constantly crossing over? I don't know...
I know I was the one saying I'm here for Nicki music, but at the same time, I feel like this entire thing has been one big mess. If the album was actually up to standards, then she wouldn't have to release it 7 MONTHS after it came out, which still has a plethora of possible singles choices. I'll be pissed if the material on TRU lacks and isn't very good.
I don't know. Maybe im just doin the most. I honestly don't care anymore. It's just how I feel at this point.
