I actually think the ratings will improve nicely overtime. Many people expected the first episode to get good ratings and then take a big dive from there but I think we'll be having a much nicer overall average over The Voice.

Exactly, the X Factor format manages to maintain viewers whereas the Voice is unable to keep viewers interested after battle rounds.

I agree. X Factor evolves overtime and gets better with bootcamp, the judges' houses, and eventually the live shows. The Voice gets quite boring after the Blind Auditions.
