HH instead POM , fall single POM , winter WA and the end of the era.

Yeah, I remember the Peacock one (but I'm pretty sure she saw the light after Firework, since she was the one who convinced them to release E.T. 4th when it was planned to be Peacock) but I'm sure there was also a HH Vs TGIF story last May/June, and obviously Team TGIF won. No?

I'm sure I read it here around the time I signed up... It was one of those random insiders saying it..

Meh. This should've been released back then, it wouldn't need no crappy remix.

I personally think that Hummingbird Heartbeat was planned to be the 6th single (Perhaps if the above post is true Capitol said 'TGIF now, HH next'?) hence why Katy and Tricky were in the studio in August - perhaps making a single remix for HH or something. Then things started getting rocky in her personal life so she swapped it to The One That Got Away? Makes sense to me.

Regardless, this really should've been a single rather than there being a rerelease, and we could've gotten a Movie EP over Summer 2012 or something.

I believe she wanted HH and her label wanted TGIF, but maybe they compromised and let her pick TOTGA, I know that was her decision. And Peacock was originally gonna be 4th, but was replaced by ET

TGIF was a better pick for the summer. The song needed a remix mainly because of Capitol's faulty management of the single. It skyrocketed to the top of itunes when the video was out, but they released it way too soon.

This and they never promoted it past that. If she performed somewhere I feel like it could have gone #1 on its own
