I agree with Icannot, why do you hate WANEGBT that much ?!!! even though I saw some stanning for Titanium, Psy or many modern sh*ts
TBH if she released a Love Story 3.0 as a lead single or a Mine 2.0 (Mine was a Love Story 2.0), she would just fade away like some random country singer...what kind of song did you want from her AS A LEAD SINGLE ???!!!!! Now she gets a massive exposure, and many records with just one song, how can it hurt her career ?! just wait & see before drawing wrong conclusions...and even in her fan base, some acts like WANEGBT has still somthg to prove the fact is that it performed well compared to LS, YBWM or any Taylor's song so far, it can die tomorrow I don t care, it already gives her so many good points even if I m not saying that I d prefer it to Haunted or Teardrops on my guitar...
sorry but some are so biaised with this song as much as Bob is with Taylor

Ugh Ronan fell to #6, Maroon 5 closing the gap and PSY coming fast.
"Ronan" is so much better than most songs of its type—beautifully structured and thought out, deeply emotional without being sentimental—that it seems nit-picky, if not callous, to point out its flaws. But since those flaws are so obvious, and so central to Swift's approach, they're worth mentioning. First, though I would gladly get into a fist fight with anyone who says Swift can't sing, she has a tendency toward overkill: the occasional sob or sigh are unnecessary in this context, and deflect attention to Swift from her subject. That may be a simple mistake, though; the second problem is more endemic. Swift has always had an eye for detail in her lyrics. But in this case, though the details may well be true, they don't feel real, or lived in. I don't doubt her empathy, but she's writing beyond her experience. Many of the details sound like something she picked up from a movie or TV show, and the music is too generic to bring them to life. Borrowed imagery worked perfectly in Swift's fairytale songs, but processed banalities fall flat in real-life scenarios. "Ronan" is a strong, affecting song, and it's for a good cause. You should buy it. But it could have been far more.
Based off these numbers, the Stand Up to Cancer special had a combined 9.02 million viewers across the four networks that broadcast it. That means only about 1% of viewers bought Ronan.
During the press conference this afternoon, Taylor said that she won't be singing "Ronan" live anymore.
Oh wow, so it's not going to make it on "Red" probably. It could be like "The Best Day" that made it onto the Fearless tour but her mum didn't want her to play it because it made her cry every time. I guess "Ronan" would make her cry.
