Guys I had a dream Die Young came out and I was so excited because it was 3:57 minutes long and I expected an epic Kesha track.
So the first minute is all electro/dubstep. Then a four line verse. Then a stuttering chorus. Then another four line verse. Then like 6 choruses just filling up space in the song.
I was so pissed

I dunno if we'd do Hot AC / Adult Contemporary -- I don't think K$ really gets much support from those stations. It depends on how much of a throwback song Die Young is.
If anyone knows a lot about radio requesting, please, by all means, share the best tactics/strategies/etc.

If we want that huge peak and longevity, requesting will help.
It's less needed with the lead single, but it would be beneficial. All the best stan bases do it.
Clearly it worked for the Kats (eight times in a row in one era).
Since Ke$ha's music generally isn't bad crap, I would be ok with RCA using similar tactics.
But I wouldn't be okay with them pulling an Animal x2.
They released a few of her least meaningful songs and snubbed all the smash-worthy ballads.
Not here for Ke$ha getting a bunch of huge singles that are meaningless.

Kiss by Carly is leaking this week as well! I can't hear it until Monday anyways though. Leaving for Germany + Poland and staying there for 8 days...so much bus travelling all over Germany + Poland! It's a trip with my school to learn about World War 2nd so we're visiting concentration camps and such things..I'll miss y'all
