Hang on, don't double CDs receive double the certifications? So a double album that sold 300k would be 2x Platinum? Or have they changed that rule now?
It doesn't apply to albums where the second album is just bonus content.

VMA Performances are considered property of MTV and aren't technically allowed to be put on YouTube. You can check MTV.com, but I was there yesterday looking for 2009 performances and it said they couldn't be found.

In a way I prefer the old way. Nothing beats the feeling you get when you see a new CD by your fave on the shelf in a store, you buy it, not knowing what to expect. You listen to it with no preconceptions or SNIPPETS and it's amazing That's why I try to avoid listening to leaks.
