Girls, this single ain't coming till at LEASTTTTT December, but more-than-likely not before the new year. I'm thinking another Grammy-time debut, it's really the only venue where she could make a big spectacle out of it. And I'm SURE she will not do a cold premiere on radio, that's not her style at alllllllll.

This album won't be out for at least another 6-8 months.

1) Bad Romance got a not-too-delayed premiere at the AMAs, so it was hardly a cold release. Furthermore, it was teased on SNL (albeit due to the demo leak).

2) Judas was not a lead single for the album, it followed on the massive success of Born This Way, + it did get the Ellen premiere which was the biggest thing she could get during that timeframe (no awards show).

Trust me that she would do something huge for the lead single, I mean... she'd be stupid not to.

@ Haus: there's really no confirmation about when the album's coming. I understand Jeff implied it was likely this year, but quite honestly without a single by September or October, there's no way she could release the album before the end of the year. And from what we know, there is zero chance for a single in those two months. As you can see, even Kendrick's collab was planned for early Sept, and Gaga wouldn't release a single so close to it anyways.

Gaga's known for being extremely wishy-washy with dates, so.. yeah.

And it wouldn't make sense anyways... so you're telling me the lead single is coming in October? Because that's the only time she has off this year.

The AMAs are on Nov 20 and she's got a show, so that's outta the question. Grammy noms are on Dec 5th and she's booked till the 3rd... while theoretically possible for a premiere, she wouldn't do it on such a low-key event imo.

So it leaves pretty much nowhere for her to do it until the Grammys in Feb.

WaiT, who told you she shot the video already? I mean, I speculated she might have done so in the beginning of August, but she was in LA and her main dancers were at home in their respective states. So unless she did it w/o the dancers or she's doing it outside of the US, I don't see when she had time to shoot it?

Also, keep in mind that the Kendrick collab will come out eventually, and probably in Oct or possibly Nov. She will not do a dual promo, she's likely to wait about 2-3 months at least post his release for her own single.

The lead single being chosen means nothing -- firstly, it could easily change. Secondly, it's not an indication of a timeline to release. Born This Way (song) was written many months before its release.

There's simply no way she could fit in promo with her tour schedule as it is right now, with the exception of a single release in early October, where she'd have to compromise for sub-par promo on Late-night shows or things like X Factor or Idol. This is unlikely.

Umm, everything you said is pure speculation. Speaking as if any of it is factual is the exact reason for all the dissapointment with Gaga news.
