The booing came because of the gay cowboy, but that's hardly what I'm talking about. The crowd wasn't into the performance or music at all. They were basically dead. You hear a few cheers and noise here and there, but it's basically "WTF is this?" or silence. And actually, the fact that she brought out a gay cowboy proves my point about her being too flamboyant and flashy for that crowd. The hipsters and pop fans have no issues with that.
So basically you're saying her music isn't good because a bunch of homophobic black dudes being ignorant while "hipsters" and pop-fans eat It up.
Blame those hoodrats for not going nuts because of some YMCA-dancer. Azealia rules and is part of this genres future.
I think people just wanted to bandwagon her cause she wasn't Nicki, and since Iggy wasn't really taking off, they hopped on the Azealia train. Her music is pretty good (Jumanji being one of my favorite tracks from her) but ATRL makes her out to be some god of rap/dance music. I mean, there was a thread a few months back asking if 212 was the best rap song of all time. But the hype around her here and the Internet overall has died down considerably which I'm happy about.
She's good but all respect was lost when she shaded Nicki to get more followers, plus PFRR made a lot of people start to lose respect for Nicki so they all flocked to Azealia

I'll NEVER understand that stuff! I can listen to Nicki's old stuff, PF:RR and Azealia's tracks without any problems. Why do people always try to only like one person per genre?
I even have a Nicki/Banks playlist on my iPhone! Shuffle makes the world a better place!
