That is great but how will it affect her touring? Unless that is why there was a rumor she was going to start touring earlier than usual. So perhaps the tour will start in November/December take a break for about 3 months then start again in April/May.

Am I the only one not here for her acting career? Popstars flop at the box office and I don't want Taylor so flop there. I also want here to concentrate on her music career.

It doesn't seem to be a blockbuster so I doubt anyone going into this is expecting large returns. It seems to be a small indie film. I hope it does well but the outcome is largely dependent on whether people have any interest in the subject matter of the film. I am just concerned about the workload Taylor is taking on because her schedule will be packed.

I understand your fears but Taylor may surprise and exceed expectations. I doubt they would hire her if they felt she was that bad. Taylor will work hard and if the director is good who knows what could happen. If things don't work out and Taylor doesn't do a good job, the script and direction is lousy well that is a risk Taylor decided to take on. She will learn from it and move on.

Taylor has always been very ambitious and very rarely fails. Have a little faith. We all knew she was gonna pursue more serious acting at some point.

I actually think Taylor was really about to play Eponine in Les Miserables but they probabaly changed it because of the epic backlash. Remember, when it was reported that Taylor was cast, Amanda Seyfried was also reported to be cast. And guess what amanda really got the role. While Taylor didn't. Just my two cents.

Well, this is what I know about the whole LesMis thing:

The director chose her because Evan Rachel Wood wasn't available. Lea & ScarJo were never been in the picture at the first place. Then the producers agreed to gave her a shot. Sure it didn't go really smooth at first. During the tour, she was trained both acting & singing in Opera style. Then broadway.com leaked the news. Of course, everyone was furious with the 'odd' choice. Too bad that the producer backed off because of the rejection from Broadway ppl and internet backlash over it, not because of her. The training did her wonders, when she met the producers in London earlier this year, she has improved A LOT since the last time she met LesMis team in NY.

For real?! Where did you read this? The I definitely CAN'T WAIT for her album. Bring us those killer pipes taylor!

Anyway, I was definitely up if she was really casted on Les Mis. Taylor belting those song would be LIFE!

And actually, I love some of killer pipes, but only when it comes to plays. Not so much in music. I hope she sticks with folk/Country/Rock vocal.
