I think because of her name the single won't do less than 200K. I hope it can make 400K but that seems improbable. Hopefully radio treats her well and spins her more. It's really up to the stations to spin it and not Big Machine, but hopefully it gets the support in deserves. And i agree, streaming is the biggest problem. I hope it gets on spotify the same day as it does on iTunes. I hope the songs has longevity but it would be good if she starts strong as well. BMR better have some promo lined up. I think ELLEN is a lock because of their friendship.
Yeah I don't see her doing less than 200k. Mine did very well even with the early leak and if fans are there for it like they were for Mine or YBWM then we could see 400k. I think the visits to the radio stations were to build up support so I am not too worried about that. She does really need a strong start and longevity so the momentum will carry over to the cd launch. Hopefully they are going to do spotify . I think she has a rumored VMA performance, appearance at Iheartradio and we can count on numerous radio interviews, tv appearances on cmt, GAC and the major networks being done for the promotional push so I am not worried.

The idea of that feels just so surreal , I can't even imagine it staying for a couple of weeks .
I feel like there has not been much promo for the lead single release at all. Hopefully it turns out to be a good thing.
So far I think they have been doing it right. No leaks and the big release of information during a livechat directly to fans. Heavier promo should be saved for the album launch. Right now she needs to just slowly build after hopefully the lead single is a success on itunes with the video release, then live performance possibly at VMA and Iheartradio. Then we see album cover art and get clips of the entire album. It seems to be planned right so that the single should get performance boosts at the right time and if it is something fans and non fans like should remain in the top ten or so for a good while.

Probably not, the last was Gaga and she had HUGE hype and promo.

It would probably fall. Taylor was never a big single seller but if she got a #1 more hype for the album will increase which is better.
